What is Special Thai Project?

Course Location

The 120 hours in-class TESOL course covering 3 weeks is meticulously designed to progress in your TEFL career and is conducted throughout the year in Bangkok. Special Thai Project in Bangkok is a combo pack of intensive teaching and learning program with an exciting holiday in Thailand.

Eligibility Criteria

All native and non-native speakers with near-native fluency stand eligible to enrol in Special Thai Project. Native or Non-Native with Degree of upto 52 years of age and Native without Degree below 40 years of age are eligible to apply. Non-native speakers with a bachelor’s degree (in any field) and some work experience can opt for the course.

Course Highlight

Special Thai Project has an in-depth content starting from the basics of the English language teaching like grammar and phonetics to foreign language awareness, classroom management and lesson planning. The progress of the trainees is closely observed followed by a detailed assessment by expert trainers.

Teaching in Thai Schools

The teachers are highly respected in Thai community and as an EFL teacher in a Thai school you can teach and touch lives in true sense of the term. The contract with most schools states 25 hours of teaching per week. Usually school timings are from Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Certification

All Asian College of Teachers TEFL / TESOL courses are accredited by TESOL Canada and TESOL USA. Moreover, ACT courses are certified by the prestigious London School of Teaching and Training (LSTT). Trainees can also avail an additional College of Birmingham (COB) certificate at an extra cost.
