In the modern era of education, the job of a teacher is not only restricted to the pertaining of knowledge to the learners but also to become an efficient class controller and manager. For that, it is important for the teacher to acquire modern day management skills from an educational administration and management course, which will help him/her to gain an in-depth idea about the educational administration and managerial wings of institutions in order to work efficiently as an able administrator apart from being an efficient teacher.

2. Communication

3. Decision Making

It is a very important component which a teacher has to utilise to the fullest in order to get to the conclusion of a particular problem in the classroom. Decision making is similar to planning but is more directed towards a particular problem. It can be done prior to the start of the course or on the spot in case of certain problems that the students might face while indulging in the course curriculum.

4. Problem Solving

The teacher needs to play the role of a problem solver on a number of occasions in the classroom. For this, the educator has to be well acquainted with the techniques of problem solving and also the management skills required for student and class management. This is very important for the modern day teacher and caters to the development of an atmosphere conducive for a productive teaching-learning procedure.

5. Motivation

During a course, especially if it is as comprehensive as that of the educational administration and management course, the students might find some parts of the course curriculum really hard, which might lead to lack of motivation. An educator, who has the knowledge of management skills and can properly implement it to motivate the student towards the successful completion of the course, can be a great influencer when it comes to pacifying such a situation. This is also another very important feature of the management skills.
